WORKPLACE GIVING

Individuals are able to support the ministry of Nazarene Compassionate Ministries (NCM) by "giving at the office." Many employers participate in workplace giving campaigns and provide their employees the opportunity to make a tax-deductible gift by payroll deduction.

Federal, state, and local government employees, those who participate in United Way (donor choice) campaigns, and those who work for companies that conduct their own annual workplace giving drive, can designate Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. (NCMI) to receive their workplace contributions. This serves as another important way to help support NCM's mission of alleviating physical, emotional, and spiritual needs around the world.

Sometime between September 1 and December 15, all federal employees and members of the military will be presented with a list of non-profit organizations to which they can contribute by payroll deduction through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). NCMI will be on this list.

Employees of many state and local governments also have the opportunity to designate their workplace contributions to NCMI. Likewise, non-governmental employees may contribute through their local United Way fall campaign in which many corporations and businesses participate.

Many corporations will also match their employees' gifts to charitable organizations, effectively doubling or tripling the employees' charitable contribution. Donors should check with their human resources office regarding workplace giving campaigns and matching gifts program and follow directions to initiate a donation or matching gift.

NCM asks that individuals please consider a gift to NCMI at the office and empower local Nazarene congregations around the world to respond to the systemic poverty, crisis, or disasters in their communities.

Federal Government Employees

NCMI participates in the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) through our federation membership with Christian Service Charities (CSC). Look for us under our Federation name in the CFC directory. Our CFC code number for your pledge form is #11735.

Local Private and Public Campaigns

Your employer may conduct a charitable giving campaign through Creating Healthy Communities. If so, check their guide for the Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. listing, and use that code to designate your gift. Please check with your employer for the correct process.

United Way Campaigns

If your company participates in a United Way giving campaign, you can support Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Inc. by writing “NCMI, 17001 Prairie Star Pkwy, Ste 100, Lenexa, KS 66220, 800-214-4999” on your donor choice card.
